Begin to Revisit Joy
Feeling good and that internal sensation of wellness isn’t an old friend… You can bring it forward when ever you choose… just by revisiting those little moments you’ve been collecting all this time… Imagine that!
When you come upon a tough moment within the day, actively engage in positivity and joy… give a gift to yourself. Find an appropriate time to pause, look back at imagery or writings about a positive or joyful moment in your collection.
If needed, visualize and reconnect with the positive experience to offer yourself relief and an opportunity to “shift your script” for the rest of your day.
Revisiting Joy can occur within a brief timeframe – a minute or two, when faced with a pressure point in your day – a critical thought, difficult situation or a tough moment.
This gets easier to more you practice.
