I’ve been guiding you through all the twists and turns of grief… It’s time for me to move to the sidelines. If you’ve made it to here, you are ready, with your tools in tote to be the navigator.
Your eyes are open, your heart still missing and longing, though understanding your reaction to your loss. You have learned so much. And there is so much learning to still do.
Each culture has its beliefs surrounding pride. Perhaps it’s the wrong word for you… What I’m hoping you are able to do this week is this: recognize just how far you’ve come… This is why so many use the word “journey” when describing grief… You begin at a place of hurt, unknowing, even despair. You move to a place of holding and honoring your loss and experience with wisdom. You know what it means that grief doesn’t go away, it just changes over time. You are in Your Space of Becoming.
Take out a pen and paper for today’s activity:
Set a timer for 5 minutes and write about your experience in grief and all you have learned, achieved, and even conquered.
