- Share something positive, humorous, encouraging, beautiful or joyful about your day with someone you experience in your life.
- Recognize times of the day to pause and Revisit Joy through looking back at photos, artwork, writings or visualizations.
Get to know your Inner Critic…
Chances are, the statements you tell yourself through your Inner Critic came from someone you know. You had someone in your life state you are “not enough” or you didn’t quite measure up in some way. You may have even endured more aggressive or even abuse from others.
Do the words sound familiar? Where are these misled beliefs coming from? Get to know the source of this negativity.
The truth is that we are not perfect… We all have made mistakes in the past. That’s how we learn and grow. We all have strengths and we all have areas we are less than spectacular.
Lucky for us, there are people who enjoy and excel in areas we don’t have interest or less skill… and we do have curiosity and aptitude for other areas of life.
How wonderful that I’m me and you are you… And that we are not the same.
