
If you haven’t realized it by now, your grief is truly your own. This is what makes grief so complex. It’s true, no one knows how you feel. This is where it’s important to be aware of what you’ve learned and what you need. You’ve been identifying this over the past months.
When it seems others may be continuing in their everyday lives, it’s important that their focus is truly different too. It’s not that they lack care, it’s more that their grief is certainly different. Remember the “Elephant in the Room” poem? Continue to talk about your Loved One.
This week, you are going to have some time to thing about what you’ve learned about yourself through experiencing this grief and this loss.
