Let me give you some permission here… it’s okay to want or have a break from our grief.
There is no doubt that you are hurting.
We naturally transition between emotions and thoughts throughout the day. We may not even notice how we change or when we change… especially right now.
Sometimes we have friends or people in our lives that just want to keep us occupied and avoiding our grief… that has it’s purpose too.
There are times to sit in our grief and intentionally find distraction to give us a break in our grief. Let’s take a closer look at what healthy distraction can look like for you.
I’m giving you a tool that is right at your finger tips… literally. This bonus talks about simplifying self-care through your senses. This is a nice compliment to this week’s discussion.
Self-care doesn’t have to be difficult… taking a break doesn’t need to be complex. You can gift yourself little bits of self-care, comfort and even enjoyment throughout the day.
