By now, you are getting in the flow of some excellent positive behaviors.
As we begin Week 7, it’s important to understand that you have been adding one skill a week. You have gotten quite proficient. Your weekly reminders are going to continue to remind you of the tasks you have learned. Though the list has grown, many of these things are now part of your everyday.
Let’s break this down into manageable parts:
Start your Day
- Create a Positive Intention for the day that is relevant and sets a positive tone for your day.
Throughout the Day
- Capture Joys through ❤︎ taking photos ❤︎ drawing ❤︎ journaling.
- Share something positive, humorous, encouraging, beautiful or joyful about your day with someone you experience in your life.
Tools to Add Positivity and Joy Within the Day
- Recognize times of the day to pause and Revisit Joy through looking back at photos, artwork, writings or visualizations.
- Integrate Positive Statements to counter-act negative self talk.
End the Day (This is new)
- Draw or Journal: 3 Forgivenesses & 3 Gratitudes each day
- Review your captures for the day as part of your nighttime routine.
It seems quite a process when we look at it… though this is what you’ve accomplished up to this point. So now, we add the last pieces. Eventually, this is a natural way of living.
You may also find there are parts you really do naturally and others that are still a bit of work. That is very normal. The idea is that each piece offers it’s reward, though you will eventually make this process your own.
This week taught very clear daily work to be done at the end of each day:
Draw or Journal: 3 Forgivenesses & 3 Gratitudes each day
Review your captures for the day as part of your nighttime routine.
