“Everything has a beauty, but not everyone sees it.” – Confuclus
We tend to be looking inward as we grieve. As we come out of the fog a bit, we begin to look around and see the world with a fresh perspective. You are living a new life. There will be tough days, no doubt.
I wonder, will you see the beauty around you?
If you are having a hard time with this, I encourage you to pause and take an inventory of your senses to get in touch with the subtleties of the world around you. You are different now. You may find some sounds pleasing while others irritating. Smells may seem more intense than before and have a tendency to bring forth memories. Pause for awe… what is catching your eye?
How do you experience your world after loss? What is the beauty you see?
