Today’s journaling is around what you would like for this Autumn season…
Setting an intention informs your actions and decisions. Not everything is within your control. You have a greater chance of success when you think about what’s to come.
Grief challenges our planning. In grief, we have times when we are living moment to moment… sometimes breath to breath it seems.
I’d like to you to break it down into First… Next… Then…
Think about the duration of time you’d like to set an intention around – a day, a week, a month?
Starting can be the tough part. Here are some words to get you going:
I have some ideas of how I would like the next (duration) to go for me.
First…(write out a couple of sentences)
Next… (write out a couple of sentences)
Then … (write out a couple of sentences)
With so many holidays around the corner, you will benefit from just starting the process of thinking about what you’d like for yourself. I call this process “seed planting.” You are taking a mental inventory of what can be for yourself. It’s just a start.
Share if you’d like… how was the process writing for you?
